Well, it's officially been one week since I started. It hasn't been super easy nor super hard. Rather moderate, I suppose. In any case, as I mentioned the other day, I did go ahead and weigh myself. I now weigh 327.8 pounds. A loss of a little over a pound. I can't be mad at that. In fact, I'm a little excited. You've gotta start somewhere, right?
I do have some cool stats aside from weight loss I'd like to share with you on my first week, provided by Striiv, my little pedometer. That's something I'll talk about as this blog continues. In any case, this week I walked 11.4 miles or 25,361 steps and burned 5964 calories. And finally, I was active for 312 minutes or just over 5 hours. All in all, not a bad week. I hope to match or beat those numbers in the next week!
Moving on, over the following weeks, I do have quite a few topics I'd like to cover every couple of days. I think Sunday will remain my "Stats" day with other days including the things I want to talk about. Some topics, just to give you an idea will be: finding what inspires you, portion control, laughing, and just some other basics on how to lead not only a physically healthy life, but a mentally healthy one as well.
