I don't know if any of you watch "The Biggest Loser" but, I'm a pretty big fan. It's inspiring to a point. It never has been able to get me up off the couch. Even now, as I start this, it's not from any inspiration from the show itself. That being said, something the contestants talk about plenty enough is their "journey". I felt that's a good enough name for it and so, I begin my "journey" as well.
I weighed myself the other day (Yes, I purchased a scale...first one in years that I've owned). Three-hundred-twenty-nine pounds. Louis C.K. says your weight should not be your age plus two-hundred pounds. Well Louis, neither should it be your age plus three-hundred. That being said, that number doesn't reflect me. I'm not that number. I'm Joe. I'm better than that number. And I plan to break it down and never see it again. I'll be weighing myself every week, most likely on Sundays, and will post my results here.
I've got plenty of things to keep me busy and a lot of topics I'll be covering over the extent of my journey. I hope you'll all join in and comment and keep tabs on me and on yourself. If you're interested in losing weight, whether it be a lot or a little, let me know. Stay tuned and I hope to do great things here with this blog and all of your support. Take care for now.
